We apologize for the delay in release, most of which was due to our move to North Dakota (e-mail if you want to ask why in God's name we did that) and setting up shop around here. | 2003-06-30 - project aristotle store news and updates T he project aristotle store may be moving in the very near future to a new geographic location, though the web address will remain the same. As such, mail order will be discontinued until we sort out our new location. However, all internet orders will continue! We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we don't want anything getting lost in the transition. I n other news, we are expanding our catalog to include releases from Sonicterror Recordings, Seclusiasis, and Darkseeds. We also have our first independent releases from numina bought directly from the artist. We will also be expanding our catalog from Second Thought Records, Ambientlive, and H/S Recordings, as well. Oh yeah, and not to mention the release of sisk's ep on project aristotle records and c367 recordings. It's going to be a good summer. |

T he project aristotle store is moving to an at-cost distribution format. In an effort to find innovative ways to distribute cds from independent labels at low costs, we have developed this format to work more closely with labels and artists who are willing to participate. The format has us buying releases at cost from a label or artist, and we determine a sale price and store profit margin. The rest of the price goes directly to the label or artist. If you are willing to try this format of distribution or have questions concerning the model, please contact us at: contact@project-aristotle.com. A s a gift to all our past label contacts, all prices in the store have been reduced and each item is marked with how much profit will go back to the label for those participating in the experiment. Yes, even those items we have bought outright at distribution prices will now return a profit to participating labels upon purchase! We are doing our best to find innovative ways to work with labels. |
