boy on the street
breaking through
dark depths
flying up
future
idle noise
idle noise 2
idle noise 3
independence day
listen
love hurts

matthew french
matthew turned to me during one of our more zen moments (in the dharma bum sense) at the bar and said he wanted his work put onto a site of his own. i told him in the meantime, i would be happy to put some of his poems up on project aristotle. he sent me 27. in the first batch. but do *not* consider him a writer, for he says: " i do not call myself a poet or a writer, i am only a philosopher. i just hope someone finds a place within them that will be able carry a thought or two of mine." and what's in a name, eh? artsy types always piss me off. ::grin:: matthew's poetry reaches out into a world of reflection on oneself, ideas, and the world itself. i have picked five that caught my immediate attention, and i hope to put many more up. if you do take anything away from these readings, please give him a buzz at the bottom of the page.
