interview
lately, trying to get a hold of shannon is like nailing jello to a wall - it's possible with engineering ingenuity. which is what it took between myself being under the weather, her leading an exceptionally busy life, and the troubles of scheduling that plagues us all. however, actually getting a chance to sit down and talk with her was, as usual, a wonderful experience. however, this time i was a bit on the offensive and she a bit on the defensive, as all good interviews should be! ::smile::

project aristotle (p.a.): good evening!
shannon b. kuehn (s.b.k.): howdy do!

p.a.: thanks for taking time to do this interview.
s.b.k.: thanks for choosing me out of the project aristotle lineup! ::smile::

p.a.: we have a bit of a motley crew here, it seems.
s.b.k.: that is definitely true. a nice mesh of things. i have to agree

p.a.: then i have to ask, what is writing to you?
s.b.k.: it's an expression... an expression of the mind in the form of words. it's everything and anything. it's what you want it to be.

p.a.: what is writing specifically for you, though?
s.b.k.: hmmm... it's a way of releasing everything... it's my form of release. it's a way to describe the inner thoughts that are constantly resonating deep within my mind.

p.a.: a cathartic exercise?
s.b.k.: in some ways yes.

p.a.: but in other ways...?
s.b.k.: it allows me to discover and uncover what is really going on. too many times we travel through life with one face showing. writing allows me the opportunity to show that other side... the less talked about side. 1 | 2 | 3
