heavy piano drifts over like sleep in the empty library you look around at the scattered deep in people talking softly nervous laughter and quiet smiles in time with the piano, like a silent movie the gray clings to the window pane dark and heedless as the rain comes down on me look at me i am enlightened percussion over piano, add slow strings my little symphony in the orange light don't look at me i am zen toss in red from overhead wash in a yellow coat pick up the percussion, deeper strings imagine everyone in the world doing something without you hahaha here comes the violets, and sky blue like swelling oceans a storm lighten percussion, gentle chords on piano fast high strings, now with violins washing away the yellows darkening the library so little blue squares can dance their way across the carpet no more hostile faces different cultures colors races thinking that i can't ever understand i am zen past the colors, too dark to see the piano softens, strings slow and the moon turns black as night my symphoney drifts away |
